This Blog has moved.... to Egypt.

Sorry I haven't written in a long time... I've kind of been busy... what with Christmas and moving to Cairo, Egypt.

I'm here safe and sound and while I question my judgement sometimes. I'm here for the next year and a half.

I've been using up my quickly disappearing stash to make a few things for around the house to make it feel more like home. I made a hanging dish towel, some coasters and a couple of crocheted baskets.

Just when my yarn was almost at it's end I found a local shop.  It is called Dentelle and it is located on the ground floor of the Maadi Grand Mall for anyone who might be in the neighborhood.

I managed to pick up some local acrylic, a bit of novelty yarn, a skein of wool, and a little bit of cotton. The only problem with the cotton is that it is so fine that I don't think I'll be able to use it for much.

I guess until I find another source for cotton yarn my little creatures will have to be made of wool or acrylic.  Here are my first two creatures made in my new home.

Cheers,
Jenn.
